About the performance test of electric wheelchair

The electric wheelchair test should determine that the capacity of the battery should reach at least 75% of its nominal capacity at the beginning of each test, and the test should be carried out in an environment with a temperature of 20±15°C and a relative humidity of 60%±35%. In principle, the pavement is required to use wooden pavement, but also concrete pavement. During the test, the weight of the electric wheelchair user is 60kg to 65kg, and the weight can be adjusted with sandbags. The performance indicators of electric wheelchair detection include maximum driving speed, slope holding performance, driving braking ability, braking stability, etc.

(1) Appearance quality The surface of the painted and sprayed parts should be smooth and flat, with uniform color, and the decorative surface should not have obvious defects such as flow scars, pits, blistering, cracks, wrinkling, falling off and scratches. Non-decorative surfaces are not allowed to have exposed bottom and serious flow scars, cracks and other defects. The surface of the electroplated parts should be bright and uniform in color, and no bubbling, peeling, black burning, rust, bottom exposure and obvious burrs are allowed. The surface of plastic parts should be smooth, uniform in color, and free from defects such as obvious flash, scratches, cracks, and depressions. The welds of the welded parts should be uniform and smooth, and there should be no defects such as missing welding, cracks, slag inclusions, burn-through, and undercuts. Seat cushions and backrests should be plump, seam edges should be clear, and there should be no wrinkles, fading, damage and other defects.

2) Performance test According to the application of the electric wheelchair, such as indoor driving, outdoor short-distance or long-distance driving, the motor performance, such as temperature rise, insulation resistance, etc., should be tested.
(3) Maximum speed detection Speed detection should be carried out on a level road. Drive the electric wheelchair into the test road at full speed, drive at full speed between two markers, and then return at full speed, record the time and distance between the two markers. Repeat the above process once and calculate the maximum speed based on the time taken for these four times. The measurement accuracy of the distance and time between the selected markers should be guaranteed, so that the error of the calculated maximum speed is not more than 5%.
