At around 14:00 on November 26th, the weather was fine, and I took my grandfather for a joyful “drive”. Suddenly! A piece of iron on the road tripped me up. Fortunately, my grandfather didn’t fall, but because I was too heavy, he obviously couldn’t “rescue” me alone.
“Hi, may I help you?” Just when I was very anxious, I heard someone asking Grandpa if he needed help.
It turned out that the intersection where I was stumbled happened to be next to the scenic spot police station of the Nanxun District Public Security Bureau, and the police uncles in the comprehensive command room of the scenic spot police station discovered that my grandfather had been standing alone at the intersection for a long time during their daily video inspections, so Just run out and check and ask if you need help.
After taking my grandfather and me to a safe area, the uncles brought him a cup of hot water, and then patiently asked him if he remembered the address and contact information of his family. However, he was too old and could only name one Community name.
The uncles did not give up. A policeman named Shi Jinquan helped grandpa into the police car, put me in the trunk, and then drove the police car to take us to the community that grandpa repeatedly talked about.
When the police car was driving slowly in the community, I saw through the car window that my grandma was just basking in the sun at the door of the house. After she noticed the police car, she was surprised to find that the person sitting inside was grandpa, so my grandpa and I went home safely. La!
Although my grandpa was shocked by my “little situation”, with the help of the police uncles from the scenic spot police station, I was finally “nearly any danger”. When they left, they also asked my grandpa not to take me out alone as much as possible. Hey, it seems that the “manly drive” with grandpa will have to run aground~
